Poptronic Studios FAQ
How can we book?
All tickets can be purchased online or in person. Purchasing online prior to visiting is preferred as it allows you to confirm a time slot to be open. Just simply select the amount of time you would like to book for, the date and time you would like to start your session!
Walk-ins are also welcome.
Do we need to arrive early?
Yes.
Please arrive 15 minutes before your booking.
If you arrive late, you may be denied the entire play time due to capacity limitations.
Do children require a chaperone?
Yes. Any child 6-12 years old must be accompanied by an adult who is 18+ years of age.
There are plenty of places to eat and shops nearby to enjoy while your little one is playing. We also encourage adults to forget the craziness of the real world and enjoy some virtual fun in our gaming or wellness studio (which you can book in the new year).
I've never done VR should I be scared?
Please do not be scared, we are here to help you get acquainted to your VR space! Our staff has over 2 decades of educational technology experience and are here to make this a lot of fun for you and your guests.
What do I wear?
VR is a very fun and active experience. Dress comfortably. No heels allowed, you will be asked to take them off.
I wear glasses, can I still wear them in the headset?
Just let us know if you need help to adjust your headset. There is no need to take off your glasses.
What is virtual reality?
Get ready for a life-changing adventure! VR is an immersive experience that teleports users into a 3D world. Fun for anyone at any age, virtual reality instantly activates your senses of sight, touch, and hearing to give you a complete interactive journey. The user’s actions guide every single movement within the experience, which is tracked through the latest cutting edge sensor technology. Whether you’re solving a puzzle, fighting zombies, competing in a race, or interacting with a piece of art, you’ll feel completely immersed.
How long is an experience?
We have different experiences for all to enjoy. However, our studios are rented in 60 minute time slots.
How many people can play at a time in the VR studio?
There is enough space for 2 people to play on their own headsets and space for up to 5 spectators. There are additional gaming consoles in the room to enjoy in-between each player.
Are there any restrictions on who can play?
Our games are suitable for most people.
- People with glasses – yes
- People in wheelchairs – yes
- Pregnant women – yes
- People with vertigo – yes
- People with epilepsy – most games, but use discretion

Do you offer memberships?
Yes, you can get a monthly or yearly studio pass from our website. Let us know when you want to begin your membership and we will prepare your Poptronic membership kit with membership card you can use to access the space.
What is your cancellation policy?
No refund will be provided in case of booking cancellation or no-show.
IMPORTANT:
The timer starts precisely at the time of your booking (ex. 4pm booking, timer starts at 4pm). We ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your booking time, this allows for us to take payments, explain the game and go over rules. This is especially important during COVID as we need more time between games for proper cleaning.
